ACCREDITATION
FAIS is one of the larger private schools in the Portland metropolitan area and one of thirty-seven French schools in the United States. FAIS is accredited by the French Ministry of Education for its elementary school and middle school. The entire school is accredited by the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools (PNAIS). FAIS is registered with the State of Oregon.
FAIS is a member of the Oregon Federation of Independent Schools, Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools, the Association of French Schools in the Americas, and the National Association of Independent Schools. FAIS is a Candidate School for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (grades 6-8).
